#2 Carbon and #7 Juab met in the quarterfinals on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Dinos took care of business early and won the first two sets 25-15 and 25-16.

After trailing 2-0 in the third set, Carbon when on a 8-1 run to take control. The Lady Dinos extended their lead to 13-6 before Juab dug in its heels. The Lady Wasps stole the next four points and 10 of 13 to tie the set at 16. The teams traded blows until again it was tied at 21. With their backs against the wall, the Lady Wasps secured the set 25-23 to keep their title hopes alive.

After a Dino timeout, the Lady Dinos got back on track and tied the game at 13. A Wasp timeout could not stop Carbon from ripping off six straight points to lead 19-13. Juab did not give up, however, and battled back to make it 21-18. Carbon then put its foot down and closed the door to take the set 25-20 and the match 3-1.
