Thursday marked a pivotal game on the pitch between Carbon and Richfield as the Lady Dinos were looking to remain undefeated and maintain their one game lead over Emery in region standings.
Carbon was able to score in the first half to take a 1-0 lead. Neither team would find the back of the net again as the Lady Dinos took the hard fought battle by the same score.
With the win, Carbon remains the leader in Region 12. The Lady Dinos (12-1, 8-0 Region 12) will host Grand (2-6, 2-6 Region 12) on Tuesday before they head to face off in a huge rematch with Emery (8-6, 7-1 Region 12) on Thursday.
