The Lady Dinos softball team traveled to Providence Hall on Thursday to compete head to head.
The Lady Dinos came to win and stomped the Patriots with a final score of 20-1. Carbon had previously triumphed over the Patriots in a similar game in March (24-0). Providence Hall’s only run during the game was earned in the first inning.
The Lady Dinos successfully shut the Patriots out for the rest of the game, including five runs in the first, seven in the second, three in the third and five again in the fourth.
Overall, Carbon’s record is now 12-11. Next, The Lady Dinos look to welcome American Leadership Academy to Price on Tuesday. The game is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
