Carbon hosted its annual senior night on Wednesday as Grand came to visit. The Lady Dinos started things off on the right foot with a 25-23 first set win. They followed that up with a close 25-23 second set win to go up 2-0. In the third set, Carbon pulled away from Grand to pull off the sweep with the third set win, 25-20.
Diana Morley led the Carbon attack with 10 kills. Morley also tied with teammate Gracie Salas for a team-high seven blocks. Katie Jones and Makenna Blanc each added 21 and 18 digs, respectively, while the latter had 22 assists.
The Lady Dinos’ (16-10, 3-6 Region 12) next opponent will be Richfield (24-5, 7-2 Region 12) on the road on Oct. 23.
