Though what seemed like a loss for the Carbon softball teamed turn into a high-scoring win in the team’s Tuesday faceoff against Richfield.
The Wildcats hosted the region match and appeared to be in the lead heading into the fifth inning, 2-1. Carbon responded, however, with a run of their own in the fifth to tie up the action. Scoring another in the sixth gave them the lead while a game-high five runs in the seventh boosted the Lady Dinos to an overall 8-2 victory.
The Lady Dinos will look for their next victory Friday as the team travels to Canyon View.
