The Carbon Lady Dinos rebounded from a two-game losing streak with a dominating performance against the Grand Red Devils on Tuesday afternoon in Moab. Carbon won the game in five innings, 15-4.
It was the sixth time in nine games in which Carbon has scored at least 15 runs.
Dekota Kraushaar, Kaytlyn Cripps and Lyndsey Madrigal all homered in the game. The trio went a combined 6-9 and knocked in seven runs. Kelsey Sorenson went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs on two doubles. Makenna Pendergrass knocked in two more runs, going 3-4 in the game with a single, double and a triple.
Freshman Brooke Moosman tossed a complete game for the win, allowing three earned runs on eight hits.
The Lady Dinos exploded in the fourth inning when they scored 11 runs to run away with the win.
Carbon (7-2, 1-0 Region 14) will host Providence Hall on Thursday at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.
