A 12-team competition took place in Price on Saturday as the Carbon Dinos hosted one of the last meets of the season.
Carbon girls’ 4×400 relay ended on top while the boys finished second in the same event. The Dinos took second in each of the boys’ and girls’ 2,2,4,8 medley relays while the girls’ 4×100 relay also took second.
Emma Christensen was first in the high jump. Makenna Blanc finished second in the 800 meter race while Emma Haddock did the same in the 3200 meter. Megan Swasey finished in third in the 100 meter hurdles as did Marianna Molinar and Taci Tapia in javelin and long jump, respectively.
Michael Banasky won the javelin for the Dinos. Ryker Childs took second in the 110 meter hurdles and third in the 300 meter hurdles. Carson Frame also finished in second in the long jump.
The Lady Dinos separated themselves from the pack for the win. They scored 137 points as Union came in second with 108.5. Grand won the boys’ division with a score of 132. Carbon took third with a 94 score.
