The Lady Panthers traveled to Provo on Monday, coming off their first victory, to take on the Freedom Prep Lady Eagles.
The game was tight at the end of the first quarter with the Lady Panthers holding a slight edge, 12-11. Pinnacle dominated the second quarter and only surrendered two points to enter half up 24-13. The Lady Panthers would not be tested again and evened their overall record to 2-2 with a 46-33 win.
“The girls played the best team basketball of the year. Each girl contributed to the win so it was nice to see a bit more depth in the final outcome,” said head coach Mark Stuckenschneinder.
The final game of the week for the Lady Panthers will be on Wednesday in Ogden against St. Joseph.
