The Pinnacle Canyon Academy Lady Panthers raced to a first place finish at the Region 19 Championship on Wednesday. The boys also marked a commendable finish, taking second at the meet that took place in Monticello.
The top five finishers for the Lady Panthers all finished in under 25 minutes, earning them all spots in the top ten overall. In the second place finish for the boy’s team, Hunter Sherman was the lone finisher in the top ten, garnering him a spot at the upcoming state competition.
Sherman and the Lady Panthers, along with head coach Mark Stuckenschneider, will travel to Sugar House Park on October 19 to compete at the state level.
