In their first bout of action for the 2016-2017 season, the Pinnacle Lady Panthers laced up their shoes and hit the court as they faced off against visiting opponent Tintic on Wednesday. Despite a valiant effort, the team lost the match 63-21.
The week wasn’t over for the girls’ basketball team, however, as its continued its work at home as the team hosted West Ridge Academy Friday evening. The Lady Panthers and Fighting Eagles sparred off before Pinnacle sent Westridge home with a 65-29 defeat.
The next day, the Lady Panthers hosted the Manilla Mustangs and was handed their second loss of the season. After fighting through four quarters, the team gave up the victory 54-9.
Pinnacle will next travel to ALA where the Lady Panthers will look for their next victory Tuesday evening. The team is coached by faculty member Dillon Perucci.
