The Green River Lady Pirates played against Grand on Tuesday evening. The night started off with a monster block from Grand, setting a steady decline for the Pirates as they went down by 26 at half time.
In the third quarter, one Lady Pirate sustained a head injury and was taken to the hospital while a fellow teammate was out the rest of the night with a minor knee injury.
The night ended strong for Grand with a winning score of 60-25. Hannah Owen, a senior from Grand, finished the night strong with 27 points. Talynn Lovato, a sophomore from Green River, finished with 13 points for her team.
