The Lady Pirates battled against Monticello at a home match on Tuesday, falling in three sets to the visiting team.
The conference match saw Green River fall behind in the first game, 25-9. Another rocky game in the second set the Pirates back, 25-6. The team stepped up in the third, but it was not enough as it took another loss, 25-12.
Green River will look to improve in its upcoming matchup at Monument Valley on Friday.
