Trailing by four at halftime, Whitehorse continued to dominate the second half to get the win against Green River on Friday.
The two teams were neck-and-neck at the end of the first, Whitehorse barely edging out Green River 11-10. After a successful second quarter, Green River went into the break ahead by four.
Whitehorse came back hard in the second half, keeping Green River to only 14 points in the entire half. Whitehorse went on to win, 57-43. Presley Lovato scored a team high 14 points and Maribel Escalante ended the night with 11.
Green River (7-10, 3-2 Region 19) will travel to Monument Valley (8-4, 1-3 Region 19) Friday.
