The Emery Lady Spartans ended their season with a road loss at South Sevier Thursday afternoon, 15-0. Emery had just three hits in the game.
Jacie Huntington had two of the three hits for the Spartans. Larissa Huntington had the other.
The Lady Rams scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth to invoke the mercy rule. Madison McCandless and Kaytlyn Farley each took their turns in the circle. McCandless took the loss after giving up seven runs, six earned, in two innings of work.
Emery finishes the season winners of six games compared to 18 losses. The Lady Spartans had a 1-8 2A East record, recording their only region victory over Piute on April 29, 22-1.
