South Sevier visited the Spartan Center on Tuesday night to tip off region play. Emery blew past South Sevier in the first set 25-8, sending an early message to the Lady Rams to bring their ‘A’ game. The Rams did just that in the second set, but Emery prevailed once more 25-23. The third set was all Emery as the the Spartans walked all over South Sevier 25-9 to complete the sweep.
Bralin Wilde was extremely efficient with seven kills out of 10 attempts. She also notched a team-high six blocks. Kaejha Johnson led the team with 11 digs and Brynn Gordon followed with 10 of her own. Gordon also recorded five of the Spartans 12 aces in the game.
Up next, Emery will (4-2) will head to Altamont (1-1) on Thursday.
