The Lady Spartans battled their way through rainy conditions to compete in a recent golf match that took place at the Sky View Golf Course in Fairview, finishing third. The team still retains a three stroke lead for second place in the overall region standings after three weeks of play.
Lady Spartan Lainee Jensen was the team’s top golfer, ending the game with 50. Raegan Sitterud followed closely behind with a score of 55. Sophomore player Teah Lowery, freshman Angie Nielson and Sydney Alton all finished with a score of 61.
The girls will next tee off on April 3 when they travel to the Cove View Golf Course.
