The Spartans invited the Richfield Wildcats in to town on Wednesday night.
Emery and Richfield needed five sets to determine the winner in Richfield earlier in the year. They would need five sets again in this one as the teams were tied at two after four sets. Once more, it was Richfield that was able to close the deal and gain the 3-2 victory.
Up next, Emery (6-20, 0-9 Region 12) will host senior night on Oct. 23 when the South Sevier Rams (14-13, 3-5 Region 12) come into the Spartan Center.
