After a disappointing quarterfinal loss to the Enterprise Wolves Thursday night, the Emery Lady Spartans rebounded quite well Friday morning against Region 15 foe Grand in a monster 70-37 win in the 2A consolation bracket.
The Spartans led 37-9 at half and coasted to the win. Hannah Dyer nailed four 3-pointers en route to 17 points, which led all scorers in the game. Camry Johnson chipped in 11. In total, 12 Spartans scored in the game.
Emery will now take on Region 16 number one seed South Summit Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in the fifth place game. South Summit advanced with a win over Summit Academy.
