The Emery High girl’s soccer team hosted a non-region game last week against South Sevier. The Lady Spartans tied with the Rams, 3-3.
The Lady Spartans were on fire in the first half, scoring three goals and putting them ahead of their competitor, 3-0. Chloe Sermon, Morgan Hurdsman and Tiana Jensen scored the goals for the Spartans.
After South Sevier fell behind in the first half, the Lady Rams made a comeback in the second half to tie up the game with three goals. The Spartans remained scoreless the rest of the game while the Lady Rams managed to force a draw with a back-and-forth battle between both teams, leaving the score at 3-3.
On Thursday at 3:30 p.m., the Lady Spartans will go head-to-head with the Carbon Dinos in Price.
