Hitting the road on Wednesday to take on the Longhorns, the Emery Lady Spartans took the first set but couldn’t keep up the action and ended up handing the victory to their opponents after three more.
The first set ended 25-22 in Emery’s favor. The next three found Altamont putting up 25 each time with Emery putting up valiant fights and managing to score several points as well.
The Lady Spartans’ final matchup is slated for Tuesday at North Sevier. Varsity action is planned to begin at 6 p.m.
