The Lady Spartans defeated Grand on Thursday in Castle Dale in a Region 15 matchup to give the team their fifth straight win.
During the first half of the game, the Spartans scored two goals. The girls capped off the game with three more goals in the second while the Devils only scored one, giving Emery the 5-1 win.
Alexis Winter led the Spartans with two goals. Chloe Sermon, Morgan Hurdsman and Sophie Huntington each added one goal apiece.
Next up, Richfield (4-1, 2-0 Region 15) will host the Lady Spartans (6-1, 2-0 Region 15) on Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
