The Lady Spartans fell short against Richfield when they got together on the tennis courts Tuesday afternoon.
Jordynn Nicholson in first singles and Morgan Hughes in second singles both lost 0-6, 1-6. In third singles, Carlie Bennett fell in similar fashion, 1-6, 0-6.
Jessie Nicholson and Haley Guymon in first doubles performed slightly better, but still lost 2-6, 2-6. Megan Hess and Shaylee Grange were the only ones to win a set but they were ultimately defeated 7-6, 3-6, 2-6.
Thursday marks the Lady Spartans’ last home contest of the season. Therefore, it will be senior night as Emery hosts rival Carbon.
