Movers and shakers from all over the area gathered at the Carbon County Event Center on Thursday night to attend the 10th Annual Southeastern Utah Energy Producers Associations banquet.
SEUEPA is a non-profit organization that is made up of a wide range of companies involved with oil and gas, coal, power generation and power transportation, mining and other energy producing related businesses. The board of directors is made up of key industry leaders from all facets of the energy industry. They involve government, private professional groups and academia.
SEUEPA is committed to promoting and spreading news about the positive things happening with energy. This year’s gathering honored Frank Markosek Sr. and Frank Markosek Jr. with lifetime achievement awards for having made significant contributions to energy development. The family accepted the awards.
Entertainment was provided by Jason Hewlett. Hewlett had the audience rolling with laughter as he preformed parodies of popular music with exaggerated facial comedy and lyrics.
