Nearly 100 competitors lined up on the Desert Thunder Raceway starting line over the weekend as part of the annual Castle Country Clash.
According to Desert Thunder Raceway owner Harvey Howard, this year’s event attracted more cars than ever seen throughout the raceway’s history. The racers were vying for thousands in prize money throughout the two-day event.
Gates opened at 4 p.m. on Friday evening as attendees had a chance to tour the pits, meet racers and view the cars. Shortly after, races kicked off and continued into the evening before continuing on Saturday.
