It may have only been water, but the suspicious leak that occurred on April 15 at 100 North 300 East in Castle Dale has done damage, and some of that damage won’t be fixed until it dries out.
Castle Dale City had to dig a number of holes in the asphalt to finally discover that the leak, which caused local homes to lose water service and traffic to be diverted, was a break in the secondary waterline. They found the source and patched it, and are now waiting for the ground to dry out to fix the resulting damage to the road.
