One hundred and seventy sixth graders took to the dance floor for a finale at the Spartan Center on Tuesday for the annual Sixth Grade Dance Festival. Preceding the combined final dance, each elementary had the opportunity to entertain parents, grandparents and friends with their own dances.
Line dancing, ball room, hip hop, or gymnastics were a part of each routine. All elementary schools were involved and took their turn; Cleveland, Huntington, Castle Dale, Cottonwood, Ferron and Book Cliff. This could be the final sixth grade dance festival, at least on an elementary level, as the sixth grades will become part of the new middle schools next year.
