A stormy day proved to be electric in the area, as lightning kept the East Carbon Fire Department busy on Friday afternoon.
Just after 2:51 p.m., the department was paged to a brush fire. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the singular brush fire ended up being three fires at once, though crews were able to control the blazes.
“Thank you to Wellington Fire Department-UTAH, as we ll as the BLM Wildland fire crews for your fast response time,” the department shared.
