A culmination tournament for little league wrestling at the Emery High School Spartan Center found many young grapplers on the mats vying for a first place metal.
In the pre-school and kindergarten levels, Taylor Fox captured first in the 34-45 pound weight class and Braxton Gardner earned the top spot in the 46-50 pound class. In the first grade category, Gatlen Rasmussen was first in the 39-45 pound weight class and Ty LeRoy won the 47-54 pound class.
Second grade wrestler Kruz Arroyo captured the first place medal for the 56-60 weight group while Jantz Greenhaulgh and Dayton Farley walked away with third grade first place finishes. Ben Farley in the 73-77 weight class captured fourth grade honors. Fifth grade first place winners were Damon Farley and Merritt Meccariello.
The Emery High wrestling team and parents hosted the event for the younger wrestlers.
