Kruz Arroyo has made a name for himself in Castle Country pertaining to the wrestling world. Arroyo, age eight, has been wrestling for five seasons and has claimed the winning spot in the Utah South Central State Tournament for three consecutive years.

Arroyo works hard at wrestling and has a great passion for it. His favorite wrestler is Jordan Burroughs, who is an Olympic Gold Medalist. Arroyo is always highly complimented during tournaments on his great sportsmanship; he always makes sure to hug his opponent following a match.

Arroyo’s father, Carlos, learned about the PinCancer organization, which is a wrestling organization that raises money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Following a conversation with both parents, upon which Arroyo learned that small children are also able to get cancer and need assistance as well, he decided that he would like to be a part of this organization.

This year will mark Arroyo’s third year being a part of the PinCancer organization. Each year, he has reached his goal of raising $1,000 and is hoping to do the same this year. Those that wish to assist not only Arroyo, but St. Jude’s, may do so by donating to PinCancer here.
