Orangeville City Councilwoman Carol Stilson will spearhead a contest to help inspire residents to improve the local community.
“Pic a Spot to Beautify” is the name of the contest and will require citizens to take a before picture of a spot somewhere in the city and then improve the area. Once completed, another picture is needed to submit to city hall where Stilson will collect them. All but the beautification committee may apply.
First-place winner will receive $50. Second place will receive $25. $10 for third. All pictures must be submitted by July 25.
