Recently, Van Mays, the well-known owner of Mays Retirement Solutions, once again celebrated a deep-seeded tradition with his family.
Mays and his grandchildren revisited a familiar area to the family, dating back in tradition to the 1980s when he would make the short and special trip with his own children.
This trip was in the form of a picnic dinner at the famous rock picnic table that is located at the Price City park near the trains tracks and across from Kentucky Fried Chicken. Mays was joyous in being able to capture a photo just as the train was coming through and his grandchildren were watching as it passed.
“Kind of fun seeing the UP slogan of Building America and the flag along with a bucket of chicken,” Mays said.
