Over the weekend, the Helper City Fire Department announced that over the past several months, new firefighters from Helper, East Carbon, Price and Wellington Fire Departments have undergone training several days a week to become certified firefighters.
The new firefighters attended Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, Hazmat Awareness and Hazmat Operations. On May 25, they completed all of their training.
“We would like to thank them for their dedication and willingness to serve,” Helper Fire shared. “We would also like to thank the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy and the instructors and testers that made it all possible.”
