Saturday, Feb. 25 found young athletes competing at a gymnastics tournament hosted in Helper by local company PT3.
Brooklyn Peary, Jordyn Peirce, Starla Morgan walked away with second-place victories for Carbon Rec while Brylei Velasques and Angela Morgan each grabbed third for the team.
PT3 athletes Aubrey Vigor, Caidy Oliver, Haylee Gibson, Audacee Eden, Maddie Powell, Tylee Jensen, Naomi Smith and Marisa Oveson. Each walked away with a first-place win. Kambryn Iriart, Malia Smith, KenZee Johnson, Grace Sims, Mersadie Oveson and Ember Densl5ey grabbed second-place finishes.
McKessa Oveson and Riylee Johnson each managed a third while Ashdyn Densley grabbed fourth for PT3.
Tylee Jensen and Grace Sims also walked away with a first at the tournament’s synchronized trampoline contest. KenZee Johnson and Maddie Powell grabbed second in the event with Mersadie Oveson and Brylei Velasquez managed a third.
