A total of 11 teams participated in a doubles horseshoe tournament on Saturday at Washington Park in Price. The event gave locals a chance to both throw some horseshoes and give back to their community.
Admission to the tourney was five non-perishable items that could be donated to the Carbon County Food Bank. A total of 150 items were gathered at the tournament.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top three teams made up of Casey Norton and Josh Eden, third, Ryan Matkin and Justin Prettyman, who fought their way through the loser bracket to score second, and Ricky Neil Sandoval and Robert Sandoval, who brought home an undefeated first-place finish.
