Over the weekend, locals Henry, Bobby and Robbie Etzel were enjoying a routine hunting trip in the hopes of capturing some geese. However, the venture resulted in an emergency hospital trip.

Henry was struck by a geese they had shot out of the sky, resulting in major injuries. He was life-flighted up to the University of Utah Hospital for treatment, where he was operated on for spinal cord injuries.

Henry remains in the hospital and his progress is being monitored. It was reported by family on Monday that he is able to move some extremities while some remain unresponsive.
