The opening act of the 2016 Culture Connection season performed on Thursday. The Peace Gardens of Price were filled with the sound of music provided by one of the area’s local bands, The Jeff Keele Band.
The band, made up of four members on guitars, vocals and drums, entertained those in attendance at the free concert with several classic numbers including “Pink House” as well as toe-tapping tunes such as “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” which had several audience members on their feet dancing throughout the evening.
The summer concerts, put on weekly as part of the Culture Connection Series, are hosted every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Price City Peace Gardens. Next week’s performers will be Deltaz who promise to bring an evening full of acoustic rock and folk music for those interested.
