Price City Police Department Press Release
On Wednesday at approximately 11 p.m., a Price City Patrol Officer received a complaint alleging an ongoing stalking crime over the past several months. It was learned that after a legitimate business contact with the alleged suspect’s photography business, inappropriate criminal behavior began occurring.
Price City Detectives began investigating the case, and on Thursday, a Search Warrant for the suspect’s residence was issued by the Seventh District Court. Officers peacefully served the search warrant on Friday at about 1:15 p.m. and numerous electronic, audio visual type equipment, and other items were seized for analysis.
The suspect, Levan W. Hall, DOB 8-12-54, was taken into custody and interviewed by detectives. Hall was allegedly cooperative during the interview. Hall was booked into the Carbon County Jail on a 2nd degree felony charge of Forcible Sexual Abuse (adult female victim), a class A misdemeanor charge of Stalking, and class B charges of Lewdness and Electronic Communication Harassment.
The Carbon County Attorney’s Office will review the report to determine appropriate formal charges. Hall has no previous criminal history.
