Those driving on 100 North in Price on Tuesday morning were treated to an interesting sight as members of KUSA the Buzz could be seen seen on top of the Tuscan trying to raise 300 turkeys for people in need. The radio station representatives remained there throughout the morning, not coming down until they reached at least 100 turkey donations.

“We love giving back and staying involved in the community,” said Amanda Holley-Paiz with AJB Broadcasting.

Reaching their goal would mean that Frank Ori, KUSA the Buzz personality, would have to dress up as Buddy the Elf at the Helper Light Parade.

The radio station raised 207 turkeys and are needing the community’s help reaching  their goal. All of the turkeys raised will be delivered to the Carbon County Food Bank and help those in need this holiday season.

According to Holley-Paiz, they KUSA team wouldn’t have gotten this far without the help of local business and the generosity of the community.
