On Dec. 7 in 1941, the attack on Pearl Harbor commenced. Those at TougHer Gym, known for always supporting veterans and engaging in acts of patriotism, made the decision to honor those that fought valiantly during the attack.

This was conducted by vowing to carry the American flag through Price’s Main Street from sun up to sun down, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Many in the community signed up to assist in the Pearl Harbor Remembrance, working in 15 minute blocks.

At the conclusion of the day, those that assisted were successful in carrying the flag more than 28 miles.
