Local Tumblers Represent at Utah Summer Games

Local tumblers competed at the Utah Summer Games at Parowan High School on June 14 and 15.
Pineau’s Tumbling and Trampoline Team competed in the power tumbling events as part of the Utah Summer Games in Southern Utah where several athletes came home with gold medals.
“I was really proud of how awesome the kids performed. Their hard work at practices really paid off,” said coach Sierra Jensen.
“The kids seemed so relaxed at this competition and just did so well,” coach Melanie Oveson said,
“We had so much fun at the opening ceremonies,” said Coach Pineau Nielsen. “My coaches and students did a fantastic job representing Carbon County. They showed true sportsmanship.”
