Locals of all ages gathered in the lobby of Zions Bank in Price last week to experience an exhibit entitled “Nature’s Ultimate Machines.” This exhibit is a traveling exhibit from the Natural History Museum of Utah that has partnered with Zions Bank branches throughout Utah for over 20 years.
Attendees engaged in several hands-on activities, discovered how living creatures are marvels of natural engineering, examined rocks and minerals, and much more. Experts from the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum were also in attendance to host an exciting activity station for guests to enjoy.
The exhibit was free to all on Thursday as it ran from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Light refreshments were also served during the event while individuals had the chance to enter a raffle.
The first raffle winner was Jaxton Trease, a young toddler who won a Zions Bank camping chair, hat and blanket. The second raffle winner, which was also the grand prize winner, was the Bingham family. The family received a two-night stay in Salt Lake City, an exclusive after-hours guided tour of the “Nature’s Ultimate Machines” special exhibition, a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum’s collection that is not found on public display, VIP admission to Utah’s Hogle Zoo and an ultimate dinner the museum experts, scientists and Zions Bank representatives.
