The Helper American Legion baseball team faced off against Lone Peak on Saturday.

During the first game, the team was defeated 12-2. There were three hits by Helper in the matchup and head coach Dakota Cisneros commented that the team struggled all around.

The second game was played with more gusto, though the team fell to Lone Peak once again with a final score of 10-3.

Coach Cisneros remarked that Lone Peak played harder and did all the things they needed to do to win. Helper American Legion boasted seven hits in the second game, but could not string any together to bring runs around.
