Lowe Dominant on Mound, Keeps Carbon Perfect in Region 14 Play *Photo Gallery*

Having upended Union 14-10 earlier in the week, the Carbon Dinos hosted the Cougars in Helper Friday, taking the Region 14 game, 9-2.

Cody Lowe continued his dominance on the mound this season, throwing 5 2/3 innings while giving up just one earned run. Lowe earned his fourth win of the season, while lowering his team-best ERA to just 0.65. Lowe has given up just two earned runs in just 22 innings pitched.

Lowe also went 2-2 in the game with a double and a triple with an RBI. He also walked twice. Ty Anderson was also perfect in the game, notching a 3-3 showing at the plate with two doubles and a team-high two RBIs. Collin Lewis added two hits as well, including a double.

Leading 3-1 in the fifth, Carbon scored six runs in the inning to break the game wide open.

Carbon (13-6, 6-0 Region 14) sits in a tie for first place in the Region 14 standings with Juab. The Dinos will take on American Leadership Academy twice this week, beginning Tuesday in Spanish Fork at then at home on Friday.
