Cody Lowe went 4-5 with four RBIs in the Carbon Dinos’ 14-5 win at American Leadership Academy Wednesday afternoon, helping Carbon to its eighth straight win.
Lowe had two singles, a double and a triple, falling a home run shy of the cycle. Jadon Robertson had the only other in the game, a single, with two RBIs.
Despite just five teams hits in the game, Carbon took advantage of nine walks and three hit batsmen issued by ALA pitching to score its 14 runs. ALA out-hit Carbon 10-5.
Triton Abeyta picked up his team-leading fourth win of the season after 2 2/3 innings pitched, allowing just two hits while striking out two batters. Zac Bradley, Kaleb Nelson, Jaxon Leonard and Nate Olson also made appearances on the mound in the game.
Carbon (14-6, 7-0 Region 14) will host ALA on Friday in Helper.
