The Miss Emery County Scholarship Pageant for 2016 was held Saturday evening.
Neal PeacockThe Emcee for the evening. Seven contestants competed in the “Outstanding Teen” category: Trintzdee Ewell, Montana Allred, Litzi Villalba, Madison Draper, Sydney Terwilleger, Lexi Gale and Kailey Jackson.
There were five contestants in the “Miss Emery” category: Brittnee Murdoch, Ashilee Byington, Mikaela Jensen, Aspen Bloomer and Maegan Butterfield. Each of the contestants were judged in the following: Talent competition, lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit competition, on-stage question and evening gown competition.
At the end of the competition, Litzi Villalba was crowned as the new “Outstanding Teen” for 2016 with Lexi Gale as 1st Attendant and Sydney Terwilleger as 2nd Attendant. Crowned as “Miss Emery” for 2016 was Maegan Butterfield, with Mikaela Jensen as 1st Attendant and Brittnee Murdoch as 2nd Attendant.
