Medical Fundraiser Hosted for One-Year-Old Graycee Mae Jensen

Friday evening, a fundraiser to support Graycee Mae Jensen, who was born with a rare condition, was hosted at Cleveland Elementary. One-year-old Graycee was born with her ribs fused together, prohibiting the growth of her lung.

Ten years ago, this would have been a fatal condition. Now, there are ways to help children like young Graycee. The child will have to undergo surgery every four to six months until she is ten-years-old. The treatment will separate her fused ribs to allow sufficient room for her lung to grow as she grows.

The fundraiser featured a live auction, gun raffles and bingo to aid in Graycee’s medical expenses and recovery. Marc and Adrian Jensen would like to give a special thanks to those that made the fundraiser possible.

Those who would like to help the Jensen family in their great time of need may do so through a monetary donation at Desert View Federal Credit Union.
