Registered voters are being given a chance to get to know the Helper City Council candidates ahead of the upcoming November election. Three seats are currently available on the council.
The Meet the Candidate night is slated to take place on Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. This event will be hosted at the Rio Theatre, located on Helper’s Main Street. Each participant will be given a two-minute window to introduce themselves as well as one minute at the conclusion.
The main focus on the evening will be the candidates answering questions from the community. These questions may be submitted at the Helper Hub, 133 South Main Street in Helper. They can also be emailed to admin@helperhubutah.com.
Questions must be submitted by Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. and all will remain anonymous.
