To help kick off the over-thirty-year-old tradition of International Days, the Metro Music Club got the community on their feet and dancing Thursday evening as part of the weekly Culture Connection concerts.

The band played throughout the night, offering audience members a chance to dance and sing along to current and well-known favorites ranging from classic hits to soul numbers all the way to current chart-topping numbers.

Concessions were offered at the event by Big Moe’s, Squiggy’s Subs N Dogs as well as the USU Eastern Catering Service.

The night, which was sponsored through many local sponsors, concluded with a bang as fireworks were shot from Wood Hill to celebrate the opening of International Days.

The next Culture Connection concert will feature local vocalist Jennifer Lopez, who plans to entertain throughout the evening with her blend of country and pop numbers. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday evening in the Price City Peace Gardens.
