During Community Daze in East Carbon this year, Miner’s Trading post organized a parking lot party as part of the festivities. All of the money that was raised was donated to Bruin Point Elementary.
On Monday, a check for $3,000 was presented to the school. The school plans to use part of the proceeds to buy a school t-shirt for every student. Remaining funds will be used for field trips throughout the year.
The Bruin Point Bears would like to Brittnie Medina for organizing the parking lot party and Jim Leonard from Miner’s Trading Post for the donation.
