On Saturday, Miss Emery County 2014 Sydney Ekker hosted a farewell party. Family and friends gathered to help her prepare for the Miss Utah Pageant, which will take place this week.
Miss Emery first participated in an interview with members of the audience asking questions. She then modeled her outfit for the shoe parade, which is an outfit that exemplifies the coal mining and power plant roots of Emery County. The swimsuit portion was the next category. Following the swimsuit, Sydney modelled her evening gown. The party ended with a performance of her talent, which is dancing.
